About me

DM Breithaupt is a NY resident who is coming into her own as a 2nd career artist.  She spent many years in Emergency Medical Services, as a paramedic. 

Her work reflects her response to the trauma of the human experience, actively portraying innocent subjects,  and strong women, with mythological overtones.  She works mostly in acrylics and watercolors.  Her goal is to create art that calms and soothes the human spirit.
